Hummingbird Bakery book

The Hummingbird book is one of my all time favourites. I was given it at Christmas and am steadily working my way through it. I have found that when making cookies it is best to use half the recipe, as it makes loads and loads. The cupcakes have all turned out really well, and the amounts are just right. I do also only use half the icing, as it is so rich and again it makes loads.

I have used wholegrain spelt flour in all the cookie recipes, and they still turn out perfect 😉

I have made the brownies, and it says to bake them for 30-35 minutes, but I bake mine for only 25, otherwise they get too hard and are no longer squidgy like brownies should be.

I have yet to try any of the pies or muffins, but will update if I do.
